Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Securobe website at securobe.com and any cybersecurity services provided by Securobe ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Pakistan.
By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or entering into a service agreement with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
Our Services
Securobe provides professional cybersecurity services including, but not limited to:
- Managed Security Services (SOC monitoring, SIEM, threat detection)
- Penetration Testing (web, mobile, API, network, red teaming)
- Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP architecture review and hardening)
- Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) consulting
- Information Security Audits
- Security Awareness Training
The scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for specific engagements are governed by a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or Service Agreement executed between Securobe and the client. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed SOW, the SOW shall prevail.
Eligibility
Our services are intended for businesses, organisations, and professional individuals. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By engaging our services, you represent that:
- You are acting on behalf of a legitimate business or as a qualified professional
- You have legal authority over the systems and data included in the scope of any engagement
- Your use of our services complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Client Obligations
To enable Securobe to deliver services effectively and safely, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your systems and environment
- Grant the necessary access, credentials, and authorisations as agreed in writing prior to any engagement
- Designate a named point of contact who is empowered to make decisions regarding the engagement
- Notify Securobe promptly of any changes to your environment that may affect the scope of services
- Ensure that any systems included in the scope are owned by you or that you have explicit written authorisation from the owner
- Review and act upon findings and recommendations delivered in security reports in a timely manner
Important: Providing false scope authorisation — including testing systems you do not own or are not authorised to test — may expose you to serious legal liability. Securobe bears no responsibility for consequences arising from client misrepresentation.
Authorised Use
Your use of the Securobe website and services must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
- Attempt to access, test, or attack systems without written authorisation from the system owner
- Share Securobe deliverables, reports, or proprietary tools with third parties without our written consent
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any tools, scripts, or methodologies provided as part of our services
- Misrepresent your identity, organisation, or authorisation scope when engaging our services
- Use findings from our assessments to launch attacks on third parties
- Interfere with the operation of our website or systems
Confidentiality
Both parties acknowledge that during the course of an engagement, each may receive access to confidential information belonging to the other party.
Securobe's obligations
We treat all client data, system information, vulnerability findings, and business details as strictly confidential. We will not disclose this information to any third party without your written consent, except as required by law.
Client obligations
You agree to treat Securobe's proprietary methodologies, tools, pricing, and internal processes as confidential, and not to disclose them to competitors or third parties.
Responsible disclosure: Where our assessments uncover vulnerabilities in third-party systems or critical infrastructure, Securobe reserves the right to follow responsible disclosure practices in coordination with you and, where appropriate, relevant authorities.
Intellectual Property
Securobe IP
All content on securobe.com — including text, graphics, logos, service descriptions, tools, and methodologies — is the intellectual property of Securobe and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
Deliverables
Security reports, assessments, and documentation produced specifically for your engagement are provided to you for your internal use. Ownership of custom deliverables passes to the client upon full payment, except where they incorporate Securobe's pre-existing proprietary tools or templates.
Tools and scripts
Proprietary tools and scripts developed or used by Securobe remain the intellectual property of Securobe at all times, regardless of where they are deployed.
Payment Terms
Payment terms for specific engagements are set out in the signed Statement of Work or proposal. General terms are as follows:
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Late payments may attract an administrative charge of 2% per month on outstanding balances
- Securobe reserves the right to pause or suspend services in cases of non-payment following written notice
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are the client's responsibility
- Refunds are subject to the terms set out in the individual engagement agreement
Liability & Disclaimers
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Securobe's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Exclusions
Securobe shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, profit, or business opportunity
- Damages arising from your failure to implement recommended remediation measures
- Vulnerabilities not identified within the agreed scope of an assessment
- Security incidents occurring before, during, or after an engagement that are outside Securobe's control
No guarantee of security
Cybersecurity is an evolving field. Our services reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Securobe makes no warranty that its services will identify all vulnerabilities or prevent all security incidents.
Disclaimer: The website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Securobe, its officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misrepresentation of authorisation or system ownership
- Your use of our deliverables in a manner inconsistent with these Terms
- Any third-party claims arising from your actions
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by providing written notice in accordance with the terms of the signed agreement. Securobe reserves the right to terminate services immediately, without refund, if:
- We have reasonable grounds to believe you are using our services unlawfully
- You have materially breached these Terms or the engagement agreement
- Continuing the engagement would expose Securobe to legal, regulatory, or reputational risk
Upon termination, provisions relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, and governing law shall survive.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
For international clients, Securobe is open to agreeing on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in the engagement agreement, including arbitration under internationally recognised rules.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
